1) Favourite Dialogue and Why?

"I need to believe that something extraordinary is possible."

This dialogue is my favorite because it captures the essence of John Nash’s journey. Despite suffering from schizophrenia and facing rejection and self-doubt, he never gave up on the belief that he could still achieve something great. As a student, this line motivates me to keep dreaming big, even when things seem difficult or uncertain. It reminds me that limitations can be overcome with determination and belief in ourselves.

2) Personal Review (Student Perspective)

A Beautiful Mind is an inspiring and emotional film that shows the life of John Nash, a genius mathematician who struggles with mental illness but doesn’t let it define his future. The film starts with Nash’s time at Princeton, where he is obsessed with finding a truly original idea. Later, we see how schizophrenia affects his personal and professional life.

The acting, especially by Russell Crowe, is outstanding. The way the movie slowly reveals Nash's hallucinations is both shocking and clever. It makes us realize how real mental health struggles can feel to the person experiencing them.

I loved how the movie balances his achievements in math with the emotional support of his wife, Alicia. The film shows that love, patience, and support are as important as intelligence.

3) Learning to Take Away from the Movie

• Mental health matters: Even brilliant minds can suffer, and we should never ignore mental illness.

• Support systems are important: The role of Alicia (his wife) shows how love and belief from others can help us survive hard times.

• Never give up on your passion: Nash returns to his work despite illness and ultimately wins the Nobel Prize. That’s true dedication.

• Reality vs Illusion: It teaches us to question what we believe and think critically.
